Join us for an exciting weekend discovering your inner caveman and skills you may of never thought you had !

Developing your survival skills over the weekend in firelighting and cooking skills over open fires , woodland crafts and foraging , as well as team working challenges and axe throwing and archery !

This introductory offer of £165 for the weekend includes :

Meet and great and pitch with complimentary BBQ Friday night

Bases Saturday and Sunday teaching classic style woodland skills and crafts and activities to survive the wilds of deepest Somerset !



Itinerary

Arrive Friday night , pitch meet and greet plus BBQ

Saturday

Safety brief on site and activities

Team challenge ice breakers

Bases throughout the weekend

Base 1

Axe and knife and saw passport !

Covering uses and safety of equipment , and correct use for carving and whittling and preparation for making gadgets , utensils, fire sticks and kindling .

Possible things you can make are woodland mallets , pegs and useful items for you stay !



Base 2

Fire lighting

Looking at foraging , construction of fires and different methods of lighting and preparation , flint steel , bow and other methods !



Base 3

Axe throwing

Learn a new sport and develop your skills in this ancient sport developed from Eastern Europe to modern day



Base 4

Soft archery / field archery

Have fun and learn new skills in the ancient sport of archery at two levels



Base 5

Hammocks / tarps and shelter

Looking at different methods of protecting yourself against the elements.

You are welcome to bring your own kit if you wish to sleep under the stars and camp site areas are provided for all

Participants !

Hammocks will be stowed while activities are going ahead.

Base 6

Survival skills

Water purification ,first aid treatment , making your survival site and first aid treatment and survival ! Swedish candles , Kelly kettles and much more !

Base 7

Fun challenges

Further challenges will completed over the weekend and campfire on the Saturday night with the group!

Food for weekend to survive

Friday

BBQ will be provided for you tea / coffee etc

Vegetarian/ vegan , please let me know what you would require.

Selection of basic foods will be provided and instruction on how they should prepare and cook , over and in the fire etc …..

Basic stews , bread twists , woodland pizza ,nettle tea , orange egg, the complete meal and anything to challenge your skills , basics will be provided and guidance !

Please provide an outline of dietary needs and complete the online application/health form which will be sent you before hand !

Full risk assessments and insurance , plus experienced instructors are provided and first aid cover.
